Andy Carruth is a native Oklahoman, raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He obtained his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 2000.

After working for a large firm in Dallas for several years, Andy moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma, to open his own private practice law firm focused on serving farmers, ranchers, and other family business owners with estate and succession planning, probates, title examinations and real property transactions, business formations and reorganizations, business transactions, oil and gas leasing, and other general civil matters.

Professional Affiliations include Oklahoma Bar Association, Texas Bar Association, and Custer County Bar Association. He is past President of the Custer County Bar Association and served as the municipal judge for the Town of Hydro, Oklahoma, for ten years. He is licensed to practice in both Oklahoma and Texas.

In addition to his law practice, Andy is very active in his community where he is past-president of the Rotary Club of Weatherford and currently sits on the board of the Southwest Intermediate Finance Team and Weatherford Regional Hospital.  He is also in his second term as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation.  

Andy and his wife, Julie, serve together at the Edge Church in Clinton, Oklahoma, and host a life group in their home.  They also enjoy spending time with their daughters, Rachel and Courtney, as well as traveling, reading, golfing, and rooting for the Oklahoma Sooners during football season.
