November 2018 (Tharp v. Continental Resources Inc., et al.) – Successfully obtained the release of over 157 acres of Custer County minerals held by a non-commercial well, allowing the mineral owners to obtain new oil & gas leases, new lease bonuses, and a new royalty.
84 Acres Released
July 2018 – Without litigation, successfully obtained the release of over 84 acres of Dewey County minerals held by a non-commercial well, allowing the mineral owners to obtain new oil & gas leases, new lease bonuses, and a new royalty.

April 2018 (Christensen, et al. v. Apache, et al.) Successfully obtained the release of over 325 acres of Custer County minerals held by a non-commercial well, allowing the mineral owners to obtain new oil & gas leases, new lease bonuses, and a new royalty.

March 2018 – (Davis-McElmurry Charitable Testamentary Trust, et al. v. Encino Anadarko Acquisition, LLC, et al.) Successfully obtained the release of 341 acres of Custer County minerals held by a non-commercial well, allowing the mineral owners to obtain new oil & gas leases, new lease bonuses, and a new royalty.
Over 357 Acres Released
February 2018 (Lash, et al. v. Breitburn, et al.) Successfully obtained the release of over 357 acres of Custer County minerals held by a non-commercial well, allowing the mineral owners to obtain new oil & gas leases, new lease bonuses, and a new royalty.
120 Acres Released
October 2017 (Klein v. JMA, et al.) – Successfully obtained the release of 120 acres of Custer County minerals held by a non-commercial well, allowing the mineral owners to obtain new oil & gas leases, new lease bonuses, and a new royalty.
$30 Million Settlement
Our firm was recently involved in reaching a $30 million settlement in favor of Western Oklahoma royalty owners in the Putnam-Oswego Unit. The case against Exxon-Mobil involved the wrongful withholding of royalty proceeds over a 30-year period.
